The blend is made from 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir and the wine has a golden tinge with a persistent froth. Meticulous sorting of the grape bunches (100% Pinot Noir) and controlled maceration help extract the colour and reveal the full aromatic richness of the pinot noir grapes. Unlike most rosé champagnes, the basis of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Brut is obtaines by drawing the juice from black grapes in the vat, not only blending red and white wines. It is cellared for at least four years.

Ageing in top quality French oak barrels has given complex, mellow, long finish without overpowering the juiciness of the Merlot Fruit.

Faustino VII Riojo (Spain) 18.50

The colour of Autumn vine leaves with hints of oak on the nose, this classic red Rioja is soft and velvety and very easy to drink. This wine is aged for 5 months in oak casks then left to mature for a further 2 years in the bottle. To this extent it is often said that the significance of the Roman Numerals 'VII' in the name, the 'V' meaning 5 and the 'II' meaning 2.

Faustino I Gran Reserva (Spain) 31.95

This is probaly one of the most famous and recognised labels on the market today. A Spanish icon, first released in 1964 and one of the great traditionally styled Gran Reservas. Pale Victoria plum in colour, aromas of the plums and rasberries combined with hints of cedar, vanilla and spice. this is a smooth and velvety wine with excellent integration of Christmas Cake fruits and spices with a hint of vanilla on the finish. Its complexity and harmony results from the prolonged ageing with 30 months spent in a combination of French and American oak and at least 3 years in the bottle.
